Artist's Notes for Walk The Dog:
I think I was channeling my favorite singer-songwriters of the '90's on this one musically (not naming names). Sorry/Not Sorry! My adult writing style is steeped in this decade and the influences are abundant and obvious, but I can't help it. Good luck getting the hook out of your head!
As far as subject matter goes, it's the same old messages I've said 100 times: Be present to your life because NOW is all we really have; Be nice and try to make things better; Find joy in daily living. [I'm not crying, you're crying.]
Stickers are available that quote: "Hug your friends and tell 'em that you need 'em. You never know the next time you'll see 'em"

Lyrics
Walk The Dog
It's another morning with a trigger warning
Put my fingers in my ears
What catastrophe could come over me
Playing into all my fears?
Ooh Ooh Ooh Ooh Ooh
So, I'll make my bed and I’ll brush my teeth again
And I’ll write some words, then I’ll hit delete again
And I’ll hug my friends and tell 'em that I need 'em
'Cause ya, you never know the next time you'll see 'em
and I’ll walk the dog and I’ll walk the dog again
Feeling strong and steady, now I'm at the ready
Anxiety's at bay
I think I'll venture out, I dispel the doubt
Got my game face on today
Just take a breath, live in the moment
'Cause it's perfect and it's true
My simple life is not what I planned
But I'm so happy to be here with you
So I make my bed and I brush my teeth again
And I write some words, then I hit delete again
And I hug my friends and tell 'em that I need 'em
'Cause ya, ya never know the next time you'll see 'em
And I walk the dog and I walk the dog again
Walk, Walk, Walkin’ the dog again, Walk, Walk
Aah Aah Aah Aah Aah Aah
Now I dim the light and I sip some tea again
And I wash my plate and I watch TV again
And I tell someone I love 'em more than they know
'Cause ya, ya can't be sure you'll be here tomorrow
And I walk the dog (and I’m walkin’ the dog again)
And I walk the dog (and I’m walkin’ the dog again}
And I walk, walk, walk, and I’m walkin’ the dog again
Walk, walk, walk, and I’m walkin’ the dog again
And I walk the dog, and I walk the dog again
