Yes, I have gone "gray" over the last 5 years, and yes, I do love to wear gray, but this woman is many years further down life's path. I imagine she can probably even see the inevitable end of the road looming ahead. I hope it doesn't depress anyone, and that you can see the beauty in her long, full life. My personal challenges in writing this song were 1) to refrain from giving advice or encouragement, and 2) no happy ending!
